Looks like some good ideas for the 25 years of #Wanderers 🐔 👏👏 starting with a new home shirt

I like the kit - the switch to just red as the main colour looks good and the embossed names is a nice touch. However, I'm not a fan of the badge at all, it looks like it was made in Word clip art or something...

Also, I assume Stonegate Homes will be the sponsor?

I believe the names on the shirt idea was originally employed by Aldershot for their 30th anniversary a year or two ago (with the exact same pricing options)

I will probably opt for the black and blue striped away shirt that Marc has described in his updates though, and possibly a third shirt too if it's a vibrant colour as usual. All red on the main body of the shirt whilst a bold choice, doesn't quite work for me, but I'm sure I'll be in for a home shirt the year after when it no doubt reverts to red and white stripes!

Personally I love the special 25th anniversary logo and I hope that they use it on all 3 of the shirts plus on some other merch too - hopefully a coffee mug, beer glass, pin badge, that sort of thing, I love to snap up a bit of commemorative merch - take my money!

Yep - love the new home shirt, though return to stripes will be welcome too as I feel that's part of our identity now.

Incidentally, are there any other clubs (in the NL and above) that play in red and white stripes with those colour blue shorts? I can't think of any atm. Obviously Athletico Madrid over in Spain of course but that's kind of it, isn't it?

I remember Braintree having an almost identical home kit to us when we were in the NLS. Think it's a bit different now though.

I think its a really good idea (even if nicked from Aldershot) and I've just ordered my home shirt, which is pretty nice, although I agree that the stripes is our real identity and right to go back the next season.   Have always been a fan of the Inter Milan colours so will see what that looks like too.  A good way of generating some extra cash no doubt. Not sure how many names will be on the shirt - presumably the fewer the names the bigger the font size?!

They can get a max of 1500 names on the shirts. I suspect the font size would largely be the same, but if there are less names then the names will just be repeated on a loop so you might see your name more than once?

@dorking-eagle yes that’s what Man United did with that blue and white away they used to have, just repeated the names

Me neither, I think they should have had the crest where the 25 is and vice versa

@ritch yeah that would have been a bit better.

I would have liked to have just seen a redesigned badge similar to what York did last season.
