@baggy Yes, I see what you mean. What we need is a playmaker, a box to box midfielder who can carry the ball through. I did think Kuhl fitted the bill well and needed more time, but he was quite quickly loaned out and I still don't see the logic behind that, although I'm sure there are good reasons. Personally I'd recall him given the ongoing injury issues.

McShane probably plays too far forward for the roll (?), and you're right, Josh Taylor also is more than capable but is playing too far up front.

And yes, Charlie Carter does sound the perfect fit - eventually.

@adeb I agree, if the Pybus injury is even remotely serious then we would need to be looking at recalling Kuhl immediately. He has a better range of passing than Pybus, although Pybus is defensively better than Kuhl.
