Big game this weekend as we face 4th placed Boreham Wood away at Meadow Park. The Hertfordshire side sit level on 71 points with us but with a marginally better goal difference. The Wood are in a similarly indifferent form to us with 2 wins and a draw in their last 5 games.

Brennan Camp serves the second and final game of his suspension and Milsom was described as 50/50 for the game by Marc. Dan Pybus has returned to full training and should return soon.

Predictions:

Boreham Wood 2-2 Dorking (Prior, Rutherford)

973 att (251 away)

                            Foulkes

         Francomb      Craig     Norville-Williams

Briggs         J.Taylor           Gallagher            Muitt

                             Carter

                   Prior          Rutherford

Subs: Milsom, McManus, Williams, Young, Murphy

An absolute carpet of a pitch, hopefully that will continue our brilliant away form. Hope Jason gets his 100th before it becomes a monkey on his back.

Good Companion pub is the pre match watering hole.

Eddie mentioned Brooking in Marc’s interview today but marc didn’t reply to it , so guess he’s not about tomorrow again.
I’m expecting another score draw , 1-1

That is 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss in the last 6 for us. At a time when we were in a real position to go into a foot race for that 1st place.

I think Boreham Wood when they came to our place earlier in the season looked the best side I have seen, even better than Worthing. However, their form has been mixed but they are stronger at home in the same way we are stronger away.

I think this is probably a score draw, something like 2-2.

Ebbsfleet get relegated if they lose today

Agree @JacksonFairweather BW deserved a win at our place.  Maybe they have lost some players since? Hope Francombe is fit enough for RB.

@cp96 Was mentioned in last weeks match thread, believe he’s fallen out with Marc/been left out etc .

Fantastic win today, sounds like it was deserved.

@gary-munnery ah had a feeling that was the case...always felt like it was an accident waiting to happen. He's a good player but comes across as a prima Dona, admitted in he's first interview he felt like he wouldn't get on with Marc at first! lets hope it can get resolved with the promotion run in coming up

Well that was an outstanding win.

We looked so fit and threatening second half in particular. All round excellence and Foulkes incredible (his confidence just keeps growing) - but special shout out to Francomb who was superb on the right - especially after all he's been going through that shows a huge level of professionalism.

Some nice selection headaches brewing perhaps, with Milson, Camp, McShane all due back and Luke Moore fully fit...

Agree @AdeB that was brilliant performance as well as result, at least after the first 20 minutes and especially second half. The aggression all over the pitch stopped BW playing - Taylor, Young and Morgan Williams helped with this and as you say, Francombe was a massive plus in defence and going forward. JNW made some good forays forward too, inside as well as out wide.

I think it helped keeping two on up top until the very end - it enabled us to get up the pitch and keep attacks going rather than just sitting back on a 1-0 lead.  But margins are very small - but for Foulkes, BW could easily have scored two.  Great noise from the fans stacked together under the roof when it rained in second half - made the tortuous journey by half a dozen trains all worthwhile!

Massive title run in, could probably all come down to the away game at Worthing

Everyone was brilliant but I am surprised more people aren't talking about how good Charlie Carter was on Saturday. He was absolutely sensational and just glided past players for fun the whole second half.

A very fun away day with the rain and the noise in that stand the second half. So much more enjoyable than the home games at the moment. We really need to do something to get the good feeling back at Meadowbank.

Eastbourne next week could very well be the toughest game of the season so far as they are very much the form side in the division at the moment. It does look like though, for the first time in years, we will have every single player available for it!

Some stats from Saturday:

Possession: Boreham Wood 57% - 43% Dorking - (Our lowest possession of the season)

Shots (On Target): Boreham Wood 12(5) - 15(4) Dorking

xG: Boreham Wood 0.76 - 1.12 Dorking

Top Performer: Jimmy Muitt [8.2]
