13th placed Chelmsford City visit Meadowbank tomorrow as we look to stay top of the table. The Clarets saw a recent run of good form but have since lost their last 2 games.

Marc didn't reveal too much about fitness in the squad in his weekly update but did say there were a couple of niggles meaning some may be left out for Maidstone on Tuesday. He did mention that Briggs and Camp are fit once again.

Predictions

Dorking 2-1 Chelmsford (Rutherford, Carter)

1,692 att. (130 away)

                            Foulkes

            Camp          Craig      Norville-Williams

Briggs            J.Taylor          Williams             Muitt

                              Carter

                  Rutherford      Prior

Subs: Brooking, Gallagher, McManus, Young, Murphy

A touchline ban for Marc too so hopefully won’t affect things too much. One of the coaches is really vocal now, very evident watching BOA.

3-1 home win , Prior with his 100th, Carter and Muitt

Looks like there will be a strong team out, although Marc hinted there will be some thought given to team for Tuesday as well. I'm going for a straightforward, dull 2-0 win (Rutherford, Camp).

Madness!

I'm going for that ugly 1-0 win again. JP with his 100th netting the winner

I'll have a Guinness

1-0 to Dorking, late, late winner by the mighty Briggsy

Ever the optimist, I'll go for a comfortable 3 - 0 win! Be great to see Prior get his 100th, with two more from Rutherford and Carter. Hopefully attendances get back to 1600+ especially with a possible title run in!

Poor day for results with only us and Maidstone drawing, everyone else winning.

Yep. Poor result but a pretty good performance I thought, apart from 20 minutes in the second half when they got the equaliser.  Another day it could have been 4-1.  Plenty of chances created and hit the woodwork 3 of 4 times.  Camp was excellent when he came on and Alfie took his goal well. Need a win on Tuesday now!

@baggy Agreed. Really good performance and with a tiny bit of luck should/could've been 6-1.

Long way to go - still fancy us to win it.

BTW - anyone else notice that the ref actually blew around 45 - 50 secs early (confirmed by the 4th official who said there was 1 min remaining when Chelmsford took the final corner) - more than enough time for the 'goal' from Foulkes to stand!

What a moment that could've been...

Just to echo what others have said, that was maybe our best home performance all season (other than maybe Hemel and Slough), we were just let down by a poor 10 mins in either half. I do think we missed Murphy in that second half as I feel with the amount of chances we had, he probably would have put one of those away.

Other results were hugely dissapointing though and it really puts us up against it going in to these next 4 fixtures. Realistically if we want to win the league then I see us needing to get 10-12 points from these next 4 as I don't see Worthing dropping too many points in the same period. Hopefully Aveley do us a favour tonight.

Stats are really dominant:

Possession: Dorking 67% - 33% Chelmsford

Shots (On Target): Dorking 29 (6) - 7 (3) Chelmsford - Our highest amount of total shots this season

xG: Dorking 2.75 - 0.72 Chelmsford - Our 4th highest xG of the season

Touches in Penalty Area: Dorking 35 - 11 Chelmsford - Our 3rd highest of the season so far

Top Performer: Charlie Carter [8.0]

@adeb Just watched it back to see and these were the timings:

90:40 - Board goes up for 5 added mins

95:28 - Ref blows for FT just before Foulkes kicks it

95:37 - Ball crosses the line from Foulkes

He maybe blowed up 10s or so early and he probably could have also added another 20-30 seconds on top as there were a couple of stoppages where the he spoke to people at corners, etc so we were maybe a bit unlucky there.

I was a bit surprised at the time that they sent the GK up for the corner as it did feel like there would be a few seconds to play after it.

@calvertskans Thanks for the clarification. Was stood on the Bank and everyone was going crazy as it looked like H had kicked the ball before the whistle
