Really looking forward to this one, team should be fresher than usual and out for the win! Heck of a slope at this ground from one end to the other

Only been there once, lot of controversy last time because of a hockey game going on immediately behind the ground, where the ref kept blowing a whistle, confusing those in the football match when down the far end!

And I have a very good Palace friend who is a director (and club doctor) at Chippenham!

Shame about Francomb and Brooking but hopefully won’t miss them too much tomorrow.
I’m going for a narrow away win 1-2.

Murphy and Alfie

Reckon this is pretty much spot on Tom

Only difference likely is if we start with Murphy, but then at what point would we take him off? 45?

I have one question before I predict a score from John Sullivan, astroturf or grass?

Lovely day. Murphy back hopefully. I’m not there. So going for 4-1 win. Shame about Brooking - hopefully some midfielders back soon.

Whole team stepped it up 2nd half and deserved the win (just) - Chippenham pushed us hard for periods

Thought Alfie wasted a couple of great chances to score, 1st half after a brilliant cross by Briggs which deserved to be headed in, and 2nd half hit it straight at the keeper

Glad it's a whole week before the next game as the players like Prior who aren't quite there need every day to get back to fitness

Was great to get to the game today with it being so local for me. And get my boy to his 1st dorking game. Which he’s now a fan for life. 💯
I thought the 1st half was poor with a lot of possession but a sloppy goal to concede.

But Much better 2nd half, lads put a great shift in to get the 3points. Well deserved in the end.

support was brilliant. Hope everyone made it home safe.
up the dorking. ⚽️

Not a particularly great performance, especially first half, but it is a tricky place to go and especially with the players we were missing so important to just "win ugly". Good to see Briggs back and scoring goals and a bonus seeing Murphy come through unscathed. Thought TC was excellent at the back again.

Need to back it up with 3 points at Chesham as Worthing will be tough on Boxing Day.

Stats from the game:

Possession: Chippenham 46% - 54% Dorking

xG: Chippenham 0.74 - 1.07 Dorking

Shots (On Target): Chippenham 10(4) - 12(8) Dorking

Passes (Accurate): Chippenham 389 (307) - 441 (363) Dorking

Duels: Chippenham 59% - 41% Dorking (Our lowest duels success rate of the season so far!)

Top Performer: Matt Briggs [8.4]

That duels stat shows how hard Chippenham battled against us all afternoon!

I'd like to take credit for the win as I was moaning to the bloke next to me how Briggs had "done nothing" all afternoon, and should be hooked, and literally a minute later he'd scored the equaliser, and then took the piss 10 mins later with a rare headed winner.

Think we all had the same idea. But fair play to Briggsy for turning it on in the second half

I'll have a Guinness
