For me all depends on the return of JNW so I'm saying:

Dorking Wanderers 1 Chippenham 0

Murphy

Att 1250

If Prior can't do 2 x 90 min games in 4 days (which is fair enough) then push Carter right up alongside Alfie I suppose

Not seen anything yet to suggest that we won't have similar injury levels to last season once the matches come thick and fast, particularly through the colder months

Decent enough performance but credit to Chippenham, they worked hard and defended pretty well. Final third potency is a bit of a concern and even more so now with Murphy injured. Wouldn't surprise me if we look to bring in a young forward on loan from a NL or EFL club for a few months until McShane is back.

On a side note, almost 1400 fans was pretty unexpected and a good sign of things to come once the holidays are over. We had 1,649 for the opening game last season but a drop-off is expected with the drop to the NLS and the lower amount of away fans. Will be interesting to see what we get for the Boreham Wood game tomorrow night.
