Have been made aware this morning by a good source and neighbour that the club's main sponsor (Stonegate Homes) has apparently gone into liquidation. Certainly they have 'disappeared' from their Dorking office over the road from where I live and which is now being converted to 45 apartments (Abinger house). Maybe others here are aware of this but I would be very concerned on how this may impact the club's finances going forward!

The club announced a couple of weeks ago that Stonegate had "gifted back" the remaining years of their sponsorship deal so I assume they were aware this was coming. I imagine the club are sourcing new shirt sponsors, etc for next season.

Not sure what it means for the Stonegate Homes stand and the Stonegate boards around the pitch though.

Also worth noting that one consequence of this is that the whole Pixham Lane site is back up for sale:

Stonegate have been brilliant sponsors of the club for many years, I hope they can continue doing their developments one way or another as they employ many local people.

Fingers crossed that they survive in some way or another, they have been great for the club and fervent backers.

I gather they have been in dispute with others for a while now - hence no progress at Pixham. So it won’t have come as a surprise to the club. I hope that they have developed alternative options - as you say, Stonegate have been great.

That aerial photo of Aviva/Pixham is an old one, trespassers have broken in over recent weeks and stolen valuable roofing materials

Never write off the Stonegate (!) though, life in them yet

Stonegate have been fantastic Sponsors of the club, massive respect to them for their commitment to the club over the years.
