In agreement with the club, the folks from the supporters Trust will be doing a bucket collection for Charlie Carter and his family inside the ground before the home game against Enfield, so please bring some cash if you can spare it.

This will help his family with the things they need to get to help their baby at this difficult time.

Thank you xxx

Nice one. Could be worth mentioning on the Enfield Town forum too?

Good idea.  I'm happy to take a bucket round the Stonegate Stand.  Who do I need to speak to?

Just a thought..... rather than collect money direct for Charlie, would it be more appropriate to collect for a specific charity related to premature babies or the actual illness that Charlie's girl is suffering from?

Terry Dunn or Jason Weir would be the best people to speak to (or via Ollie at DWFC)

I have pointed Jason in the direction of this topic

Just seeing this post now, is there a way to donate outside of the buckets?

Lots of people wanted to pay by card, but we only had buckets for cash.  Even then over £500 raised and presented to Charlie after the match.

Thank you for doing the collecting in foul weather Bryan. Brilliant amount raised considering it was the lowest home crowd of the season too. Top work.

The post match interview with Marc was quite incredible. Lots of bold statements thrown about. Went to listen a second time later this evening and it's been deleted, not surprised to be honest.

Nonconformist FC indeed.

@dorking-eagle So it has! Glad I caught it before it went. Marc and James both laid into the ref multiple times.
It’s a shame Charlie’s impromptu thank you has gone

@dorking-eagle any details you can share David? I too missed it last night. Saw it had been deleted and assumed it was explosive!

Marc basically said many times that the ref was arrogant, didn’t want to talk and that he’d go no where in the game with that attitude. He also said he went against the 4th official on the time added on at the end of the game. James said he’d run his foot over with his trolley when they entered the ground and didn’t apologise.
Was a funny 13 minutes and can see why it was taken down
