And here it is, to be played on Sat 14 October:

Horsham v Dorking Wanderers.

A local derby! And surely a chance to put our FA hoodoo to bed???

Rather strange instructions on where to park.  The post code on the ticket is about a mile beyond the ground and the web site suggests parking at Tanbridge House School and catching the Park & Ride.  Ignore both these options.

Plenty of space in the Park & Ride car park next to the tip.  At the A24/B2237 roundabout turn left then take first left to the tip/Park & Ride (opposite the Golf Club).  Head for Zone P and you will see a sign directing you along a footpath to the stadium.  It's about a five minute walk.

That is exactly what I plan to do Tyke. I guess because there's 2000 coming to this game rather than the normal 900, they are trying to encourage as many as possible to not use that nearest car park (because it's where the Park & Ride for the town centre goes from!).

I’ll be getting the train from Dorking and they say there are 5 buses an hour from the station. Who knows - they might even lay on extra buses?

The matchday parking availability at the park and ride is not very big anymore as the council have taken half of it to park their own vehicles, hence they are providing an alternative at Tanbridge School.

@mackers71 They also mention parking at RSPCA - about 20 mins walk away?

Really looking forward to the trip down to Horsham - I'll just have to remember not to get off the train at Dorking!?!

To those that have been to ground before, how are the bar(s) and food facilities? I do like to spend my cash inside the grounds to support the club or will that be a bit of a gamble?

@dorking-eagle 100% win for,

we won't get a better chance than this, a team 2 leagues lower. The team has to be the the strongest we have, no resting or putting them on the bench.

If we don't get a result a lot of questions will need to be answered.

Have to win then as I already bought tickets for the England game at Wembley that night!
