Who does everyone want then and who does everyone think we'll get?
I don't mind who we get if we're at home but would obviously rather avoid the likes of Chesterfield, Barnet, etc.
We've had a ton of long away trips already this season so would rather avoid one of the long away ones if possible. Don't mind if we get a new team down South somewhere though.
Just please not Horsham, Aldershot or Eastleigh. Sick of the sight of all 3 of them.
Maidenhead United at home it is.
Could be worse but could be a lot better. Need to play much better than the home game back in August.
I think people usually want either an interesting away trip somewhere they haven't been before, or someonly 'lowly' at home. This is neither. But winnable.
Not exactly going to break any attendance records though!

At the very least … we don’t have to wait a month before our next home game now and it is definitely a winnable game … a good FA Trophy run would be a bonus too this year

I agree the club should be very happy to have a long cup run this season, I think they were hoping to at least have progressed in the FA Cup, and seeing Horsham double up on their first round match (with some tv money too) must have been particularly galling.
Remember the 2019/20 cup run well - Leatherhead, Bromley, Stockport (twice) and Fylde in the last 16, the whole club had an air of excitement and the ground was packed (twice)
Fingers crossed!
(some of the 'smaller' clubs got each other too so if we could progress we could go far with a bit of luck of the draw!)

Yes agreed. A somewhat tougher draw then we might have got, particularly given there are only 2 all NL draws in the southern section.
Tickets on sale for the Maidenhead FA Trophy game - decent value 😀 too
£12 Adult, £10 concessions, £25 family of 4
I hope the club get rewarded with a good size crowd for the game ...& a win 👍

@happy-hammers so would I Gary, but I thought that about the previous game vs them too 🙄
Pretty sure Rutherford, Muitt and Philpot are all cup-tied for this one. With Seager leaving and Prior injured then that leaves just Ottaway as our only striker option for this...
Let's hope Carter is back fully by then so that McShane can play up top.

Isaac isn't
@calvertskans Do you think Carter will be match fit? I know it is just a wrist injury, and he could be conditioning, but he hasn't played in a game in how long?
@calvertskans Yep - certainly Rutherford and Muitt played for Bognor in the Trophy. That's quite a big blow isn't it? Just imagine we make it to Wembley this year and 2 of our most influential (and loyal) players can't play! Not to mention that we will have very limited striker options should we go on a run.
Can't help thinking we've missed something there...
