Who does everyone want then and who does everyone think we'll get?
I don't mind who we get if we're at home but would obviously rather avoid the likes of Chesterfield, Barnet, etc.
We've had a ton of long away trips already this season so would rather avoid one of the long away ones if possible. Don't mind if we get a new team down South somewhere though.
Just please not Horsham, Aldershot or Eastleigh. Sick of the sight of all 3 of them.
@adeb I assume the thinking was that minutes for Jimmy and Alfie were just more valuable to them and the club than them missing potentially a few cup matches.
Let's hope Prior is fit by then as it's not like we can really sign a stiker to replace Seager for this as they will also likely be cup-tied (unless from the league above).
Didn't we sign a younger striker, Everitt or something? My memory is not always the best.
@robh Very good point. I'd forgotten about him, seeing as there's been almost no mention of his name since signing. Anyone know anything? He's meant to be an excellent prospect.
Everitt is on loan at Carshalton. Looks like he has been playing as a wing back though, although that could just be the way Carshalton do their team lineup posts. Pretty sure he will be cup-tied as well as I am guessing he would have played a Trophy match since he's been there.
Also, Kuhl and Jebb will be cup-tied should they ever need to be recalled.
@calvertskans Looks like he didn't play when Carshalton got knocked out of the R3Q early Oct. Scored against Horsham though a few weeks back. Might be a good shout to recall him given we only have 3 strikers?
Yes I'm not sure why Muitt and Rutherford played in those games for Bognor. I would of thought we need them more than Bognor in the competition.

I guess the priority for Dorking at the time was to get minutes into Alfie and Jimmy, so that they would be up to speed for league games at Dorking sooner.
In the grand scheme of things what we do in the league is the clubs bread and butter, a cup run is the jam on top.
