Our Under 18's (most of whom also make up the "B" Team) have got through to the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup.  They are playing Worthing at Meadowbank next Thursday 2nd November. Kick Off 7.45.

As it's FA Cup I guess that Season Tickets won't be valid but it would be great to get some noisy support for the kids.

Season tickets are not valid and it's £8 for adults 😳

@dorking-eagle Bit pricey for that level, surely? Same as I paid for Farnham Town (1st team) at the weekend...

I accept a fee has to be charged for an FA competition match but agree it feels a lot for an U18s game

Kick off is at 7.30pm.

Witgh the gale behind them, and a few noisy supporters, they should win. Man U in the Final.

So glad I went tonight, really good contest and 3 late goals, 2 of them for 10 man Dorking

Hopefully a big 'League 1' club in the next round, anyone know when the draw is?

Well that was exciting - eventually!

Dorking down to 10 men on about 75 minutes then went a goal down.  Equalised in the 88th minute and got the winner in the 94th.  Bitterly cold rain but about 250 spectators which was brilliant.

Seen Ruben's post match interview, draw is Friday lunchtime apparently.

Hopefully get a big league 1 or league 2 side

Draw is still regional

250 is a great turnout! Think I might go myself next round if it's at home...

Looking at the teams from the South already through, could get a trip to Swindon, Charlton, AFC Wimbledon, or even Gillingham!

Gets insane if the boys can make it to R3!! 😎

Really glad I went down last night - Dorking have some really good technical on the ball players. Struggled a bit at converting that in to chances in the final third but were generally fully deserving of the win.

If we made it to R3 one of the big boys at home might get a 4 figure crowd?

The Academy/"B" Team - DWFC's best-kept secret! They are usually more consistent in League games but Worthing were better than some of the Adult teams they play against.

Some really exciting young players in there. Wouldn't surprise me if some of them feature in squads for the senior team next season. Maybe even in the Surrey Senior Cup this season.

Was really impressed with Bejashvilli, Tauta-Caballero and Ayeni. Not sure the name of the small number 4 but he was excellent as well.

Cheltenham away next round!
