Tough one, I'd take a draw - and expecting one too. No Charlie, sadly, nor Pybus, Moore, J Taylor etc

Farnborough (1) 2 Dorking (1) 2 (Rutherford, Prior)

1,581 (391 Wanderers)

Definitely would take a draw, considering we will be missing a couple of key players.
Not been great away from home so I’ll say narrow defeat, maybe 2-1.
Sorry everyone, hope I’m wrong

Can’t see much joy here either. Makeshift midfield; will have to go long and hope Jason has a stormer. 1-0 defeat is my guess.

Take care if you are going on the trains (nb the 11.22 is cancelled)

Away form has not been good enough to get out this division at W1 D2 L3 and only 6 goals scored in those 6 games and 17th in the away table.

Farnborough have the number 1 home record in the league at W6 D1 L1.

We have key missing players in midfield and Murphy just has not turned up for this season. Correct me if I am wrong but I do not even think he has managed 3 games in minutes (270 minutes) collectively across all 14 games so far.

I am sorry but I think this is 2-1 to Farnborough.

It sounded like a strong game (was able to listen to match commentary via Farnborough's Community Radio). Back to scoring ways. What a return for Camp!

Best away performance I've seen, one of the goals of the season from Jimmy, and unreal Wanderer's support. Must have been over 500 - noise was exceptional.

Surprised it wasn't segregated for the number we brought, was a little bit fiddly changing ends at half time, but really enjoyed watching the first half from the excellent seated end stand

Second half was just an emotional rollercoaster

Food was superb, club shop amazing (got a ton of old programmes and books for a fiver!) and what a terrific day

Fans non stop singing and support. Players and fans as one.

Only wierd thing was MW taking off Alfie, not Jason. Marc said he had to keep JP on 'for set pieces'. Presume he meant defending them??

Positive, Alfie looked like Alfie of old, so fresh, had loads more running in him, so he will hopefully be amazing against Maidstone

Keep climbing the league table Wands!

What a performance and what a day! Should have been out of sight after 30 mins so to react so positively from going 2-0 down is really promising. 6 goals (and 2 disallowed) in 20 mins was mental though!

Some unbelievable individual performances in there; McManus, Muitt and Gallagher were all superb and Rutherford really looks sharp again which is great to see. Nice to see Camp mark his comeback with some goals as well.

Marc mentioned in the post match that he hoped McManus will be fit enough for Tuesday but I am pretty sure he picked up his 5th yellow yesterday so will surely be suspended? Unless it takes 7 days to kick in like the Brooking red?

What a game to miss! 😩 So much for our pessimistic forecasts - just as well football is unpredictable otherwise it would be boring.

It sounded like it was more of the same for the first half - dominant in possession but no end product. So fantastic to suddenly score the goals that all the possession supports. The goals from a rejuvenated Alfie and Jimmy looked brilliant on DWTV - defence must have been good too to manage that last 15 minutes. Brilliant result with a patched up team.  Roll on Tuesday for another classic!?

Borderline unplayable for spells in that game. Looked so quick, sharp and skilful. I'm hoping this will really up the confidence levels now.

Didn't go to Farnborough as I was stewarding for the "B" Team (vs David Ray's Storrington), but Niall must have been terrific.  Saw Toby's video and he hit two from near the edge of the box - both about 20 feet over the bar.  And yet he was in NLP's National League South team of the week!

@dorkingtyke He was absolutely immense. Had a tough start missing those 2 chances and getting an early yellow but was brilliant after that.

Some stats from the game:

xG: Farnborough 1.54 - 2.58 Dorking

Possession: Farnborough 50% - 50% Dorking

Shots: Farnborough 12 (6) - 16 (8) Dorking

Top Performer: Brennan Camp / Jimmy Muitt [8.5]

Another unusual stat - I believe that is the first time we've come back to win away from home after conceding the first goal since Hampton and Richmond away back in January 2022! I can't even find the last time we came back from 2-0 down away from home to win...

This new book will solve that mystery (perhaps)!

On Sunday morning I finally watched the PRE match interview. Loved the bit where James said 'we're probably game of the day today' and Marc came back with 'when we play we're always game of the day' !! 😉
