Sounds like no coach to Gateshead away in a couple of weeks, understandably.

I am keen to go, if anyone is thinking of driving up and back on the day (can't really afford to stay over).

Alternatively don't mind driving if people want to come with

James.

I’m surprised that the club aren’t running a coach for the game even if it’s £30-35 especially as we had nearly a full coach for Hartlepool

Same - it is only an additional 30 mins from Hartlepool and that was a fairly painless coach journey in the end.

Flights look far too expensive and a train looks like it will be about £120+ from London.

@calvertskans only viable option is taking an overnight coach from London for £30

@calvertskans other issue with flights is there isn't one back to London after 1655 on the Saturday.

@jlamps is there anyone who could persuade the club to organise a coach do you reckon?

@benwheeler05 I have tried to speak to Ollie about it. He has canvassed supporters in the away days whatsapp group and the interest was mimimal. I am not in that group and I understand it is a small sample, but he has to base it on something.

@jlamps I’m surprised there’s not more interest tbh

Considering we took 50+ there for a midweek game last season. I would imagine we would take at least that this time if there was a coach running.

@calvertskans yeah and especially as most of those were our northern contingent which means a lot of the main away days lot won’t have been able to tick the GIS off yet

In reality it was a handful of Dorking fans who made the trip from here in Surrey - Kris paid for our match tickets and bought us a drink at half time each.

The rest of the away end was made up of people from the North / North East, players families, and some committee / volunteers who travelled up on the team flight booking

Plus they did do a couple of surveys on the awaydays whatsapp group (which most of the coach regulars are on) and only got 12 "yes's" for a coach and 2 for a minibus.

Supporters Coach departs at 06.30am and is priced at £25 thanks to a kind subsidy by the Supporters Trust

30 people needed to book for the coach to run.

Match tickets are online via Gateshead's site

I believe Fuller is suspended for this one after picking up his 5th yellow on Sat and there are several other players on 4 bookings - McShane, McManus, Pybus, Gallagher, Francomb

Could be slim pickings for a squad for Boreham Wood if we get another iffy ref at Gateshead!
