As we reach the halfway point, let's have your predictions for where we will finish.
I'll start.
3rd behind Maidstone (Champions) and Boreham Wood.
Play off final at Boreham Wood, over 1,000 Wanderers - and promotion back to the NL 🍾
I think 2nd and lose the play off final on penalties after Prior panenka's it.

I think we will finish somewhere between 3rd and 5th.
We need to be aiming for 1st place. But if you look at the squad, the glaring weakness is in the forward position. The midfield and defence is at the level of the division higher, but we do not have a forward at the level. Does any of Rutherford, Prior or Murphy get a NLP contract?
In the tight games, where you need to take the few chances you create, its a big weakness. You can get away with that when 90% of the NLS teams are not at your level and you will create loads of chances.
The other issue is the poor home form which is clearly difficult to fix as it relates to shit surface we have to play on.
Of course with such a strong defence and midfield, we could still nick that 1st place spot...despite those 2 weaknesses.
@jacksonfairweather Rutherford would absolutely get a NLP contract at almost every club in that league. He's the second top scorer in the NLS currently and was top scorer a few seasons ago!
In terms of predictions, I don't see us finishing above Boreham Wood, Maidstone, Torquay and Worthing so I think 5th is most likely, maybe even 6th if one of Truro, Weston or Eastbourne have a good second half of the season.
An away play-off fixture would probably actually be a better thing considering our home form...

Bit harsh on 2 of those 3 tbh. Especially given Alfie's hattrick and form up until yesterday.

With regards to half season prediction, I can’t see us finishing in the top 3. Especially with the home form and injury hokie cokie. Im thinking 4th or 5th.

I think 4th or 5th is most likely. I would expect a more consistent second half of the season with players coming back from injury but other clubs are now churning out results week in week out. Boreham Wood, Maidstone and Torquay probably top three. The rest all very beatable.
Don’t think we will come first but definitely a play off place, maybe 3rd … and then all up to the playoff gods
