Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
It's that time again - local rivals Horsham away in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round. Last year saw a horrific 2-0 defeat against a depleted Wanderers XI but let's hope this years depleted Wanderers XI can fare better.
The Horsham side contains two ex-Wanderers in the form of Isaac Philpot and Charlie Hester-Cook, while Sami El-Abd remains as a coach.
Brennan Camp, Aaron Kuhl, Luke Moore and James McShane remain mid to longer term absentees while you would expect Barry Fuller and Jordan Norville-Williams to miss out also. Rhys Murphy is expected to come back to the side but there is no news on the worrying injury thta Josh Taylor suffered against Weymouth. Bobby-Joe Taylor apparently serves the last game of his suspension even though he already has missed the last 3 matches. Josh Brooking is apparently also unlikely to feature to avoid being cup-tied.

Foulkes
Francomb Craig Gallagher
Briggs Pybus McManus Bowerman
Carter
Prior Murphy
Subs: Cahusac, Brown, Wooster, Myles, Muitt, Rutherford, Rawlins
I reckon Briggs will be rewarded with a start after some really good recent performances. Pace of our back 3 really concerns me and we don't really have any other options if they pick up an injury...
It is just appearances but even on minutes he would still be quite high up on the list. He played more than people think he did last season.
BJT was 7th in list of total minutes played last season (2233 mins). Just ahead of Carter and behind Francomb.
Another chance to beat Horsham in the FA Cup this week! The Academy have drawn Horsham YMCA in the FA Junior Cup at Meadowbank on Thursday, kick-off 7.45.
Because it's a cup game season tickets aren't valid but it will only cost a few quid.
@wayworn-wanderer Which is more than all the other wingers in the squad.

Looking at the stats, only 8 players started more than half the games last season, and only 4 more than 30: Male, Josh Taylor, Prior and Craig.
With so little consistency due to injuries it is no wonder it was so hard to put runs together and points on the board.
Jordan is expecting a "big" crowd (300 plus) tonight for the FA Junior Cup game against Horsham YMCA. So there should be a good atmosphere and, hopefully, lots of goals.
