Rather than using all the match threads, let's put injury crisis discussion in one location.

Current injuries and expected returns:

Brennan Camp (Shoulder) - 8-10 weeks

George Francomb (Groin) - ~1 week

Jordan Norville-Williams (Hamstring) - Unknown but can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks

Callum Kennedy (???) - ???

Jimmy Muitt (Calf) - ~1 week

Seb Bowerman (Hamstring) - ~1 week

Bobby-Joe Taylor (Suspended) - 1 more match

Josh Taylor (Foot) - Unknown

Luke Moore (MCL) - 6-8 weeks

Aaron Kuhl (MCL) - 6-8 weeks

Jason Prior (Knee) - 1-2 weeks

Rhys Murphy (Groin) - 1-2 weeks

James McShane (ACL) - 2+ months

Which leaves just the 9 fit senior players currently...

Harrison Foulkes

Barry Fuller

Tony Craig

Dan Gallagher

Matt Briggs

Niall McManus

Dan Pybus

Charlie Carter

Alfie Rutherford

A very interesting Friday update from Marc:

  • Fuller now out with a groin injury
  • Francomb, Bowerman and Muitt will return tomorrow
  • Prior and Josh Taylor are 50/50
  • New signing Josh Brooking from Chelsea will be involved
  • Mason Myles from the academy will be on the bench (featured in a few pre-season games)
  • Another exciting new signing to be announced next week

@gary-munnery Said he heard a crack according to Marc so might be a broken foot. Would be an absolutely massive blow if true.

So Theo Alexandrou is in the building.

Lets hope Mark gives him some game time, and a chance in the first team.

Others he has signed in the recent past, end up playing B team and then being released to a step 3-4 team after a 3-6 months.

@jacksonfairweather He doesn't join up with the squad until 5th Oct so we won't see him for a little while yet.

Side note, Neo Wooster, Mason Myles and Ollie Rawlins all involved with the academy today. Joel Brown and Zak Cahusac not involved.

@calvertskans A shame he cannot join earlier, as the injury crisis up top is severe right now.

Yes I see academy lads have been training with the first team. If this Theo lad is gravy then lets hope he gets given that chance to start games.

@calvertskans That’s a bummer. Just seen a few of the goals he’s scored for St Ives, some nice finishes

Yes, recognise him, he has played a LOT for Sutton Utd in recent seasons. Quite old now. Might be having a bit of a trial?

@dorking-eagle Yeah it's Rob Milsom. I assume he's either training with us for fitness or joined us on a short term deal to help with all the midfield injuries.

@calvertskans Marc did mention Alfie is struggling with an injury, and didn't seem to be available for tomorrow?

Brennan Camp is such an unlucky one.

This feels so deja vu. Injury crisis, piecemeal team, playing Horsham in FA Cup Qualifying round.

@robh Marc's wording about Rutherford was that he had been playing through a hamstring injury so unclear if he meant he was unavailable for Saturday. You can see him in the training footage released this week though.
