Does anyone know anymore about the long injury list and when players might return?

Seems like quite a few have been stuck on 'a few weeks away...' including Charlie Carter.

Cook out on loan is brave. We need a bit of cover at the back.

Joe Cook on loan to Weymouth

Seems a very strange move that, given our well documented injuries

I actually think we do have enough cover to send Cook out on loan. We have at least 2 in each of the back 3 positions:

RCB: Francomb / Fuller / Philpot

CB: Craig / Gallagher

LCB: Hollis / Kennedy / B. Taylor

A few can play in multiple positions across the back 3 as well.

Don't know for sure but the tweet said it was announcing the 'signing' so my guess would be perm

Marc says in the update that we only have 14 fit players for tomorrow (+ Joel Brown) but there must be more injured than what he said because I count at least 16 or 17 fit players based on the mentioned injuries:

Male, Francomb, Fuller, Philpot, Craig, Gallagher, Hollis, Kennedy, B. Taylor, Muitt, Moore, Brown, McManus, J. Taylor, McShane, Carter, Rutherford

Also, if we only have 4 subs then surely you call up one of the other youngsters like last week (Gale or Rawlins probably) to fill the extra spot on the bench.

I hope Prior or Ottaway are close to fitness as we've sent Alfie out on loan again ☹️

Surely we have an incoming if we've let Alfie go on loan for a month and sold Seager. Prior and Ottaway also struggling with fitness a bit.

Luckily McShane seems to have found his goalscoring form from last season recently at least.

I trust in the gaffer to try everything in his powers. There must be a plan.

I will say that I agree with the Alfie loan though. Him playing 45 mins for Bognor every week didn't really do all that much for him. He needs regular 90 mins week after week which he should get while at Weymouth.

I was surprised by the Alfie loan, but can only assume that JP and Ottaway are good for the weekend. Alfie has looked sharp to me when he has played, but I am no expert and maybe he can't do the 90 minutes for a while.   We haven't looked like scoring too many recently, but that is mainly due to the build up play.  Getting the wingers back, plus Pybus and Carter in midfield should hopefully sort that out a bit. And yes, @Calvertskans, Macca looks in good form again now.

Pybus & Carter in midfield, plus some fit wingers and a striker will be good

The double header v Oxford City on Boxing Day (H) & New Year's day (A) are HUGE

These games can see a big change in our league table position, with Oxford already in the relegation places, only 4 points behind us

4 points minimum required for Wanderers over the 2 games, I think

Anyone know how long Kuhl's loan is/was? Don't get why we won't bring him back now as I suspect his battling style would be welcomed...

Actually just found out - until January, so end of this year, although we could still have recalled early.
