Dorking return to FA Trophy action away to the phoenix team of the former EFL side, Macclesfield. They currently sit in 4th place in the Northern Premier League (Step 3) and are managed by Alex Bruce (son of Steve Bruce) and part owned by Robbie Savage. Their squad includes Oumar Niasse, who Everton payed £13.5 million for back in 2016 and also John Rooney, brother of Wayne Rooney.

Dorking have a number of players cup tied for this one (Rutherford, Muitt, Cook, Kuhl) but "fortunately" they are all either currently injured or out on loan. Dorking will hope to have Francomb back fit after missing the last couple of games. Kennedy, Ottaway and Muitt are all potentially missing pending squad news from Marc later in the week. Briggs is likely to be out for a while after coming off injured early against Oldham on Saturday.

Predictions:

Macclesfield 1-2 Dorking (Prior x 2)

2,879 attd.

                                       Male

              Francomb            Craig           Hollis

     B.Taylor             Gallagher         Pybus           Bowerman

                                    J.Taylor

                            Carter          Prior

Subs: Huk, Philpot, Fuller, McManus, Moore, Blair, Ottaway

Who are third in the NL South, so wouldn't have been easy at theirs.

@calvertskans Damn it. That would have been a good one! What a season for cup disappointment.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a few of their players in our squad next season (unless we switch divisions)
