"Noncomformist FC - The First 25 Years of Dorking Wanderers" is a book (soon to be published by club sponsors Castalia Library)

Football historian Rob Cavallini has written the entire 200+ page story of the club, and the book is accompanied by the photographs of Steve O'Sullivan, Simon Roe, Stuart Tree, Stuart McAllister and more

All the results and league tables right back to the early days, so you can find your first 'I was there' moment!

Quite simply this coffee table sized book is a must for any Wanderers fan!

The book will be sold in local bookshops, Amazon and from the club itself. It will be available to order online from early December. All the profits from the book will go to the club.

If however you want to pre-order, then you can do so at  www.kickstarter.com/projects/dwfc/dorking-wanderers-the-25th-anniversary-book

where you will also find various special editions available such as signed copies and limited edition deluxe leather bound editions.

I wish I could justify getting one of the leather bound editions, as Castalia Library produces really quality books, but tis the season of Kickstarters. I backed it, of course, as my home is always in need of more Wanderer's memorabilia (the Mrs. might disagree).

Anyone able to share the update on the delay on this? Keen to get a copy but was intending to buy a hard copy either at the ground or a local bookshop, I understand an update was shared for those who preordered via kickstart. Thanks in advance!

The update was that it wasn't ready before Christmas as previously expected, the club were gutted themselves as it would have been a big Christmas seller. But they want it to be as good as possible, many copies pre-ordered were leather bound ones, gilt edged pages, signed hardbacks and so on.

Those who pre-ordered got offered a pair of tickets to a home league game which I thought was a very decent bit of compo

When it is available to buy, believe me you will know about it as I am sure the club will do a big publicity drive!

The publisher is Castilia Library, who are big supporters of the club and they are ensuring all the money from the book goes to the club.

"We have been informed by the publisher that we should receive them this Friday, 24th January. Following receipt we will start the fulfilment process."

This will presumably include getting the signed copies signed by the team/manager
