Exactly 1 year on from the dreadful 5-1 defeat in the torrential rain, we face Oldham Athletic again. They arrive in much different form to last year (where they hadn't won an away game yet) with 3 wins from their last 5. They're actually much better away from home than at Boundary Park where we were unfortunate to not get all 3 points back in September.

McShane the latest serious injury leaves us very short of attacking option as Prior is also unlikely to be risked after the Boxing Day debacle. Marc mentioned Francomb and Fuller will be 50/50 for the game but still no news on the Muitt injury.

Oldham will be without in-form loan signing Josh Stones as he suffered an injury on NYD leading him to be recalled by Wigan.

Predictions:

Dorking 2-2 Oldham (Carter, Ottaway)

2,759 attd.

                            Male

        Gallagher       Craig       Hollis

 Briggs         Pybus       McManus      Bowerman

                         J. Taylor

                   Ottaway     Carter

Subs: Francomb, Kennedy, B.Taylor, Blair, Moore

@dorking-eagle agree the last bottom fourth place is up for grabs ( not in a good way)

Some really positive signs today and so good to see our wingers and forwards back in the second half … also think Charlie Carter can make a difference when we have a full team

Saw that Alfie played 75 mins today on loan

He could have been here and played the 1st half (and Jason come on for him for the 2nd half)

Is he on loan to balance the budget? Could do with him here tbh

Really encouraging performance, especially second half and especially when Bobby Joe came on. Thought some of the play down the left was fantastic - great football. Just needed the finishing.

Worried about Briggs now, this is just happening too often. Fingers crossed it's not as serious this time, but when BJ came on we looked a better side tbh and I don't think he gets anywhere near enough game time - an underrated player imo.

MoM for me is tricky - BJ, Carter, Josh T, Barrowman all had excellent games.

Roll on the Trophy.

I would give McManus MoM first half and Bowerman MoM second half.

Carter was good throughout though, so I can see why he got awarded it.
