I see they've sold over 1,000 tickets - that's an amazing number and I think way more than last season - and - not far off double what Woking managed for a half hour (or so) drive.
Wonder why the big interest?
Hopefully we'll sell a decent number too and the attendance might be pushing 3,000.
Any idea which pub(s) Marc puts money behind the bar these days? I believe the one many of us were in last year has shut, High Street near Waitrose if I remember correctly
Do remember he is also being generous towards Frank's Atlantic rowing effort.

Confirmed as £500 kitty in the Fanzone (which is just after the away turnstiles)

Had a great day out yesterday in your town, made better because of the friendly 'bond' between our clubs and the steward who stood with us in the away seating area. He is a credit to your club. As Macclesfield is a stones throw from my town in Cheshire, I'm tempted to sit with your lot next Saturday at Macclesfield if anyone is going?
I am going to Macc but most of us will be standing rather than sitting (unless it tips down with rain of course!)

We are going too, and making a night of it up there. All recommendations for eateries, drinkeries welcome. Do come and say hello @monkeechops.
@baggy I live in Winsford so I'm afraid I can't give you recommendations for Macc. I am in the predicament of having to use a Mobility scooter and it means I need a seat to sit down and so I am unlikely to be able to enter the stand where you stand behind goal. If I am allowed to sit on my scooter behind the goal then I'll be over there somewhere. If you see me, pop over (with it being cold, there's a chance I may not end up going due to it causing me problems but we'll see)
Did anyone else offer Oldham Groundhopper a place to stay, to see a post the next morning that he apparently slept rough? Good lad but a madman!
Could have died in the cold - there's a reason rough sleepers have blankets, newspapers, sleeping bags etc, it's dangerous in freezing temperatures, and all for the sake of saving a few quid to watch a random second game at a ground there are multiple chances to visit each season. Doesn't impress me at all - he's a silly boy.
Several people told him where he could have got a cheap night's b&b too.

Just watched the highlights of the Oldham game, how the hell didn't we get a draw or even a win in that game, I can't tell you.
Unbelievable, Marc must be absolutely gutted and a little annoyed.
