This weekend's game against Chesham will be the mid-point of the League season so who has been your player of the season so far? I've included all the most likely candidates and some stats (from the league only) to help out:

Goals:

9 - Rutherford

7 - Carter

5 - Briggs

4 - Prior, Camp

3 - Muitt, Young

2 - Murphy, Alexandrou

1 - B.Taylor, Williams, Brown, Francomb, Bowerman

Assists:

4 - Muitt, Craig(!)

3 - Young, Francomb, Bowerman

2 - Rutherford, Prior, Briggs, Milsom

1 - Carter, Pybus, McManus, Camp, Norville-Williams, Brooking, Gallagher

Tricky decision but Tony Craig has played a lot better this season.

Great idea for a poll!

I agree Tony Craig has had a great season (especially considering he is nearly 40!) but the stand out player for me so far has been Brennan Camp. He is a real battler but is also great technically. He looks dangerous going forward and has scored a few goals too!

I've gone for Jimmy Muitt. He hit the ground running in pre-season, and carried it on so far.

Yes he plays on the left when Briggsy is starting, but can still have a similar effect.

Assists and chipping in with goals is what he's all about. The most forward thinking and direct player we seem to have at the moment

I'll have a Guinness

I voted for TC as I think he's been the most consistent throughout the season so far and is incredibly our joint top assister. Muitt probably a close second but does have the odd below par game and Camp missed too big of a chunk with the shoulder injury to be in the running at this point I would say.

Camp and Rutherford good shouts for player of the season by the end of season if they carry on recent form I would say.

Some other stats I forgot to include:

POTMs:

August - Jimmy Muitt

September - Harrison Foulkes

October - Josh Brooking

November - ??? (Don't think it's been announced yet has it?)

Top 5 Appearances (All Comps):

1st - Harrison Foulkes - 25

2nd - Jimmy Muitt - 24

3rd - Tony Craig, Matt Briggs - 23

4th - Alfie Rutherford - 22

5th - George Francomb, Jason Prior - 19

League Clean Sheets (Played 60+ mins without conceding):

5 - Muitt

4 - Carter, Camp

3 - Foulkes, Craig, Gallagher

2 - Rutherford, Briggs, Young, Milsom, Norville-Williams

1 - Prior, J.Taylor, Kuhl, Williams, Francomb, Brooking

I know it's not the right topic but has anyone had any feedback from Ollie, or anybody, about his Fan Forum that was held in October?

I raised a couple of points with Ollie and Jonathan but didn't get a reply.

We were promised the results of the forum before Christmas.

Heard nothing so far - to be honest that fan feedback evening sounded like a bit of a convoluted process.

That said, it does feel like quite a few of the suggestions from the summer survey and things mentioned on here have been taken on board -

- click and collect for merch has been trialled (I collected my new scarf yesterday and thus saved on postage!) (they had to send out 300 scarves by the way, a huge operation for a club our size!)

- the range of merch in the online shop is now pretty huge

- they sent out emails when there are new merch items for sale

- they have had a few items from the online shop (like the new range of mugs and a couple of the new t shirts) on sale in the main merch/ refreshment shed at the ground (again saving people postage, and increasing the range of items on sale at the ground)

- Plastic season ticket cards are now an option again for next season (hooray!) which shows they are really listening.

The club is doing lots of stuff, for example season tickets for next season onwards (1 year and 3 year) have been made available, and half season tickets are also available

Coach travel continues to be offered even though they aren't usually full - if people can support the club by using them when convenient then it does help the club - it is much quicker by coach to Chesham than by train for example, and if you go by coach rather than drive you can have a drink at the game as well, and enjoy browsing the social media discussion on the way home.

Wasn't that forum just to design a survey which was sent out a few days ago?

If it was sent out a few days ago then I never got it!

UPDATE - emailed Ollie at the club and got emailed it straight away, about to do it now. It should have been emailed to all season ticket holders.

I wonder if Ollie Rawlins is regarded as likely to be just as good as Theo??

He is nearly on 40 goals already this season!

I think an NLS loan is a good idea for Theo. Now that Murphy and Prior are back and McShane is building fitness, it is unlikely that Theo will get many minutes at the moment.

That being said, Murphy is never far away from another injury and McShane looks like he needs a loan to me so it is a bit of a risk losing Theo. As you say @dorking-eagle, maybe Rawlins can cover in that scenario although I think a Step 3/4 loan is probably a better option for him.

I didn’t get the survey results either 🤔

I went for TC for same reasons as @TomCalvert.  Lots of other good spells, from Muitt, Camp, Brooking and Alfie, but TC is very solid every week. Hardly any mistakes and where did those assists come from?! Back post at corners I guess.

I wonder if those on a 3 or 5 year S/T were missed from getting sent the survey?
