Another trip to Wiltshire tomorrow as we face a Salisbury side currently sitting in 19th place in the table on 32 points. The reverse fixture earlier in the season was probably the most dramatic game yet as we squandered a 2 goal lead against 10 men in the 86th minute to find ourselves 3-2 down a few minutes later. A late late Bobby-Joe Taylor equaliser rescued a point on that day though.
Marc sounded upbeat about the fitness of the squad going in to the game and did not mention any new injuries going in to the game. He announced that Josh Brooking will return to the squad tomorrow and that Brennan Camp is very close to a return as well. There was no update on Rob Milsom though.
Predictions:
Salisbury 1-3 Dorking (Carter, Rutherford, McManus)
979 att. (277 away)
Foulkes
Gallagher Craig Norville-Williams
Briggs Williams J.Taylor Muitt
Young
Carter Prior
Subs: Brooking, B.Taylor, McManus, Rutherford, Murphy
Wouldn't surprise me if we play an extra midfielder for this one and push Carter a bit further forward. I do think one of Rutherford or Prior will get rested as well. One of the wingers may miss out from the start based on Tuesday night comments so we could see Bobby start or McManus out wide.
Salisbury (0) 2 Dorking (1) 4 Rutherford (3) Carter
1,002 (301 from Surrey)
Dan Pybus on loan to Hemel Hempstead for one month. Will be good to have him back fit for the playoffs (or title celebrations 😉 )
@calvertskans And of course he will play against Worthing, Torquay, Eastbourne and B'Wood - could do us a few favours there... 😉
Theo Alexandrou has gone to Wingate & Finchley as well it appears
Will be good have a match fit Pybus back for the run in - there are bound to be more injuries.
Whatever team is out tomorrow should be good enough to do a job, having seen the home game, especially if they play anywhere near the level of Tuesday.
Salisbury 1 Dorking 3 (Prior, Carter, Muitt).
Hopefully a good away day. Wish I was going actually, did plan to when the fixtures came out but stuff always comes up!
1-2 Briggs and Murphy
You missed a good one Gary! A very similar performance to Tuesday night. Very dominant for most of the game, missed a few chances but only conceded chances towards the end when Salisbury finally put some pressure on. Great to see Alfie back amongst the goals, with two really good finishes, and almost a brilliant third too.
Very decent ground and facilities too; with their fans up for a bit of banter. Some other results going our way, so all in all a very good day - COYW!
Odd sort of segregation in that you had to go into the home stand to get to the toilets, but I think the segregation was just to stop us going into the home end, which to be fair looked pretty full. After all we don't let away fans into The Bank.
Fully deserved the win, hope Briggsy is okay asap he has been playing well lately.
The plan is going well, win and we can't be overtaken until someone plays when we don't. Hopefully by then the chasers might have dropped some points themselves!

With regards to the banter, I did see a Salisbury fan on Twitter apologising for songs aimed at the gaffer.
Ah, didn’t hear those @Gary. There was a guy on the balcony in a blue coat who seemed to be enjoying giving and taking some stick. All good natured stuff.
Great performance, we looked excellent all over the park and it just shows how comforable we could have been this season if we had a normal amount of injuries (like we do now) earlier in the season.
Only concern was the injury to Briggs but Marc sounded somewhat optimistic about it in the post match which is good. Sounds like we might see Milsom return on Tuesday as well with Camp not too far behind either.
