Back at Meadowbank again this Saturday to 14th placed Slough Town as we look to pick up back-to-back home wins for only the second time this season. The visitors are in a poor run of form with their last league win coming back in late November although they have picked up some respectable points against the likes of Hampton, Torquay and Eastbourne in that period.

Similar to Aveley, we lost the reverse away fixture earlier in the season, 3-2 at Arbour Park. Slough lost one of their better players this week as they sold Chambers-Parillon (who scored the 3rd Slough goal back in November) to Southend United.

Marc mentioned in his post-match on Tuesday that none of the injured players are likely to return for this one so we will likely be missing Camp, Brooking and Francomb once again.

Predictions:

Dorking 4-2 Slough (Carter, Craig, Rutherford x 2)

1,598 att. (240 away)

                       Foulkes

        Gallagher   Craig    Milsom

   Briggs     J.Taylor    McManus    Muitt

                        Carter

                Prior       Rutherford

Subs: B.Taylor, Norville-Williams, Williams, Young, Murphy

Don't think there will be too much change in the line-up. Possibility that JNW starts after a couple of good cameos in the last week and it wouldn't surprise me if McManus starts to freshen up the midfield a bit after Williams played 90 midweek. I would possibly rest Prior and give Murphy a start (with a view to starting Prior away at Hampton a few days later) but Marc never rests Prior...

Massively need to keep the run going, feels like its a title chase now for 6 teams, the one who holds their nerve will win the league.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Murphy start tomorrow in place of Alfie.

About 10 minutes before Alfie's booking on Tuesday, I noticed Marc bollocking him about something. Alfie gestured in what I thought was a petulant way.

Then he gets booked and withdrawn at half time.

Was his booking for dissent?

I'll have a Guinness

@steve1966 It was for dissent, yes.

Still reckon he'll start as he should be fresh as not played many 90 mins recently. Unless the plan is to keep Alfie fresh for Tuesday night instead.

If Rhys Murphy was 100% fit, I am sure he would start every time. But if he has to be looked after, in terms of minutes, perhaps it makes sense for him to play second half, as on Tuesday.  I would be surprised if Morgan Williams does not start in midfield; and there is a case for JNW starting on the left and Jimmy on the right, for more balance. It will no doubt be tighter than Tuesday but another home win would be massive. I am going for 1-0 (Carter).

Worth mentioning that we are guaranteed to go top with a win unless Maidstone beat Torquay with 2+ goals more than us

Dorking will go top tonight, the fans will rejoice

Boreham will regain top spot on Monday night

Dorking will take it back on Tuesday night

Not a gnats chuff in it, but it's the business end of the season now. I think Marc has got the eye of the tiger now.

Wonder how many we will/might take to B'Wood if it's still this tight? 500? More probably.

And if we get to the Worthing game and it's either win or bust then we would be looking at record numbers - especially a sunny bank hol down at the coast. Get your DWFC flags hanging from the pier...

Such a dominate game. Alfie had several chances in the first half that could have run the score up, but he couldn't quite finish. Slough's goal felt avoidable, but hard to tell from the stream. Jimmy seemed to be slowing and blowing at the end there, which it seems why Marc took him off. JNW is looking more and more dangerous on that left side. Exciting times as we are top of the table right now. It will be interesting to see who Marc picks for Tuesday.

Great win, dominant performance.

Interesting to see Marc out for the second half well before the players - prob at least 5 mins. Wonder what that was about.

Thought we were excellent AGAIN today. what a team.

Ade, Boreham Wood I reckon 250 Wanderers. Worthing is going to be insane whatever is at stake. 400 to 500 easily possible. More if promotion is on the table.

We really don't need the aggro of the playoffs, could you imagine the season ending with a whimper in front of 3000 Cornish at Truro on a Tuesday night. Doesn't bear thinking about, lets win it outright.

Could have been 5 in that first half - Not sure how Alfie didn't score (although it was down the other end, so hard to really see), but just wasn't his day. Looks like some excellent saves denied him.

Really pleased to see Milsom's left foot settling in. His delivery for Prior is becoming a nice weapon to have in the team.
