With 9 games left they get more important.

Supporters coach selling extremely well, only a few coach seats left.

Can make a right din under that corrugated barrel roof, so a good chance to really get behind the team and raise the roof - the drum will be in attendance!

I'm predicting a 1-1 draw, goal by Jason Prior and 135 travelling Wanderers.

Lunchtime update from Marc should shed some light on his thoughts for this one.

I'd take 1-1 all day long.

Southend (1)2 Dorking (0)1 (Carter)

Not sure what Southend usually get, but let's say 5,055 with 101 Wands.

Unbeaten in their last 7 but drawn their last 3 games 1-1.

I don't think Marc will be able to rally the troops in time for this game unfortunately so I am going for a 2-0 loss. I don't fancy us for away games without Josh Taylor in the side.

6,290 att. (112 away)

I reckon it will be the same starting line-up as Saturday but McManus instead of Moore. Maybe Alfie comes in for Prior as well but I doubt it.

Bloody hell, not sure who plays RB tomorrow with Francomb/Fuller/Cook/Gallagher all injured. Surprised we haven't recalled Philpot if that really is the case.

Will be a shame if Carter misses the game as well.

@calvertskans Injuries seem to pile in certain positions (e.g. wingers in the beginning of the season). So, is it a back 3 of Hollis, TC, and BJT with Pybus playing a kind of 4th man?

@robh I think Fuller and Francomb will just play 45 mins each. If Fuller is just a dead leg then he should be fine for at least 45-60 mins.

I assume it will be this (if Carter is injured):

                                  Male

                Fuller          Craig        B.Taylor

Muitt                 Pybus        McManus            Blair

                                 Moore

                        Prior        Rutherford

Subs: Francomb, Hollis, Carter, Bowerman, Ottaway

God knows what happens if one of the centre mids gets injured during the game. I reckon Carter will have to be on the bench at least even if he isn't fully fit.

Afternoon Dorking. We may be unbeaten in 7 but we are having a bit of team identity crisis since our Consortium takeover is nearly complete, but not quite. The last two games we have been totally clueless first half, and then back to our best second half. So it will be interesting to see what Southend side turns up. We managed 8k for our last game against Daggers, but with games coming so thick and fast we think the crowd will be down a little on that number as 'go to football' money is not an endless fund!

Safe journey to all who travel to the Hall.

I'm afraid I can only see a home win tomorrow. Think we should go with a back 4, but it's doesn't really matter if it's a 3,4 or even a 5 at the back if we defend like we did on Saturday.

Good luck lads.

Latest gate sales, including your mob. We'll probably shift a further 500/600 up to ko, so not bad for a wet Tuesday night.

Prediction for the game is 2-1 or 3-1 Southend. At this point its looking terminal. The defending against Maidenhead was not even at non-league step 3 level.

I am surprised that given the absolute state of the squad that Marc has not made use of the loan market. But presumably given the bad experiences previous loan players have had at Dorking, its hard to get boys in the building.

The side could really do with the likes of Briggs and McShane right now, they do not have any replacements for either at that level.

Mark said at the end of his interview he is aiming to get 9-10 more points by end of season .Personally with our goal difference, I don't think that will be enough . We  are effectively 4 points  behind already (Wealdstone should get at least a point from their 3 games in hand). I think we will need 11 or 12 to be save us, as a lot of teams are picking up wins.

I expect Kidderminster to finish above us as they are in good form at the moment. This would mean we would have to be better than two teams until the end of season (assuming York and Oxford continue their poor form). Boreham Wood are in poor form, but not sure who else will be dragged in.

Glad to see Marc is looking forward to the Easter games. Bromley and Aldershot will be hard games, and we will do well to get anything from them. Also surprised he said he can fix defence, as has been a problem most of season.

Don't think this goes ahead tonight considering the Colchester game has been called off. Maidenhead game also off and Wealdstone will likely be off as well.

The drainage system at Roots Hall is excellent, the original base layers were cockle shells galore We've lost several games to frost, but I can't remember the last time we had a postponement due to rain. (You know sometimes you wished you hadn't posted something? well this is one of them) 😲

Another dose of reality tonight, unfortunately too many of our players weren't good enough, not for want of effort or trying hard. I believe they all gave their best.

Of course nobody will be giving up until the maths make it impossible.
