Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
Probably not going to be the hottest topic on the forum, but it looks like a date has been set for the home game against Lingfield
10th Dec 2024 at Meadowbank
IF (big if cause it could be the B team) we win that game, then we would play AWAY at Farnham Town in the next round (date tbc)

Thoughts on the team for tomorrow evening? Presume it won't be Marc in charge - and that we won't see many (if any) first teamers?

Isn't the Merstham game next week? I am thinking of going.
I’m going to come down for this one
I presume we will see much less first teamers this time around due to the busy recent period and important fixtures coming up.
The only first teamers that I can see being involved in this are the ones that need fitness minutes in some form like Norman, Moore, Young, McShane and possibly Brooking. Guessing we will see some of the loaned out players as well like Fuller, Pybus, B.Taylor, Alexandrou assuming they don't have fixtures at their loan clubs that night.
If Dorking get through and were drawn to play Walton & Hersham in a semi, who would Bobby Joe Taylor play for?!

Most of our rivals are playing one of their games in hand Tuesday night so hopefully some of the results go our way. Expecting a lot of first teamers to be rested for the Merstham game, so hoping to see some of the other squad players playing. Presumably will be relatively low crowd and going for 3-1 win.
Squad now announced for Tuesday.
@crawleysth Bit surprised Rutherford, Gallagher and Norville-Williams are in it as it feels like they've all played a lot of minutes recently. JNW is our only fit left winger as well so an injury to him would be a disaster.
If the match is a draw, does anyone know if it goes to extra time or straight to penalties?
@crawleysth I think it goes straight to pens. When we won it a few years ago, the final went straight to pens.
I'll stick a prediction in
Dorking 5 Merstham 2 (McShane, McManus, Williams, Young, Brooking)
385
BTW I think this cup would be a little more attractive if they held the final somewhere like Woking?
