Could Murphy's goal be the one that gets us promoted?
On another issue I noticed Marc getting a yellow card on Tuesday.
Just been reading "Nonconformist FC" and back in 2012/13, when DW were playing at Arundel in the Sussex County League Div 1, he was sent off: "after an altercation with a supporter when he removed the man's glasses, then poked him in the eye."
Haven't got mine yet, presume hardback and signed copies are taking a little longer to be produced?

Not got mine either - I went for the fancy version too. Maybe Marc can't find a pen?
Interesting stats @TomCalvert. I didn't think we had as many shots as that. Do you have your stats on percentage of long balls? From memory, there was not much playing out from the back at all - a massive change in style from the start of the season. It was Dan G getting on the ball and hitting the long passes. Have you got any comparisons with earlier in the season, or maybe I have imagined this? I think it is good to mix it up, tactically. There was much more going through the middle, rather than focussing on getting it wide all the time, especially in second half with Murphy up there looking to get on the ball. Has made us far less predictable as an attacking unit. Still top scorers in all 7 top leagues - just!
@baggy We attempted 75 long balls on Tuesday which was the 6th highest of the season so far.
There is a slight recent trend to going longer as 3 of the top 7 most long ball games have been in the last 4 matches (Slough, Salisbury and Tonbridge). Two of the lowest amounts of long balls attempted were in the first 4 games as well (Chippenham and Torquay). The lowest was a few weeks later away at Aveley. That being said, it does seem to vary from game to game as Hampton away last week was one of the lowest.
We average just over 60 long balls per game this season. We also average 442 passes per game.
