Anyone going? 🤣

Whats the thinking behind this trip, is Marc trying to bring in some foreign investment and sponsorship?
Looking forward to the BOA footage

IHowever it was arranged, I presume the offer of a free 'business' trip to USA was too good to turn down. Never hurts to spread the word.

Yes  I guess this trip was funded by Americans interested in Wanderers story, and aim is to get more American investors.

I was actually there. Small group of people. No real Q&A. Everyone was a bit worn out by Monday. Marc looked reluctant to do his song and dance, but he did well. Had some good chats with local fans, and the staff. I think it had more to do with a free trip as some of the attempts at podcast or business meetings seem to never fully materialize.

I really enjoyed myself as it was small gathering, and I had a chance to talk to a few of the people. I'm not New York base, but made a great weekend for me and my better half.

That is interesting to hear @RobH. Will look forward to further reports back on anything substantial that was secured, apart from the prodigious hangovers!

I really hope I am wrong but it feels like a huge opportunity missed. Even if there wasn't any opportunities to attract investors, there could have been a huge social media blitz from this with stacks of content, photos, tik toks of Marc and Pybus sightseeing, experiencing stuff.

You only have to look at Wrexham and what they have achieved to realise the power of social media reach.

It sadly seems like it was an excuse for a series of nights out on the razzle (to put it politely), and the club already does that not only with the annual pre season 'tour' but also the Christmas trip to the darts.

It just feels like a bit of a waste of time and money really - even if the sponsor of the trip picked up the whole cost, it's as if the club are embarrassed to mention the trip happened, rather than do a massive publicity drive from it.

On the positive, 4 pts and 8 goals from the two games since means in the scheme of things it's not done any damage.

Yep I was expecting lots of social media content but they only put up a picture of Marc and Pybus stood in the street.
I watched Rich on the BOA members update and he basically said they went on a huge bender including a stag do and they didn’t film much

Whole thing quite bizarre really!! Still feel the club could have really made a lot of social media coverage from it, and milked the publicity.
