Next up Wealdstone at home on Tuesday night (7.45pm)

Let's pack out Meadowbank and make that special atmosphere that has seen us on a long unbeaten streak under our lights on Tuesday nights!

Poll above to gauge the mood !

Will he start Briggs tomorrow night? Or will he continue with Blair?

Briggs to come on in second half when games is more stretched?

And how does Kuhl fit into the team now? Alongside Pybus in centre midfield?

Not sure there'll be many changes from Saturday. All depends on whether there are injuries/tiredness in any of the players.

Can't see Kuhl getting many games at the moment with the way the balance of the side is. Depends if home games will allow Marc the opportunity to release the handbrake somewhat, rather than the away games recently that have shown we can defend and be resilient. I know he talks about wanting to entertain etc, but at the moment with the transition of the squad and our strengths, seeing us win 1-0 away from home is massive. I would take plemty more of those this season that is for sure.

Challenge this week should be can we go back, to back, to back in terms of wins. 9 after Rochdale would be huge...

I can take a more defensive and solid style of play for a good while yet if it brings results, lets keep it tight!

@jlamps Agreed, I don't think we'll see any changes except maybe McShane in for Seager. Hopefully get Briggs some minutes later on as well. I think Kuhl will have a similar role to the one he had against Southend. If we need more control in midfield I can see him coming on for Gallagher in the second half of games where we need a goal.

Really need to start a run of wins at home this week and get clear of the bottom of the table. Would definitely take 4 points from these two games though.

@dorking-eagle yes why change anything,  let's be solid,  hard to beat and nick a few 1-0's and slowly climb the table.

Yes, loving the tight defense and stronger midfield. I'm ok with another clean sheet, even if it is 1-0. Once we get our wingers sorted, I can see more goals.

“Anything- nil”, as my old captain used to say.
I agree with the recent focus on defence, as it is paying off.  But it is no good for the nerves!
It is really hard to defend defend for long periods. I would like to see some more ball retention, just to take the pressure off. It used to be the Wanderers way, so should not need a massive change in coaching etc. As has been said, the return of the wingers should help turn opponents round and improve the service to JP

Even at 3-1 up it felt nervy for the last 20 mins, Wealdstone never let up the pressure!!

Huge 3 points though, the 'Tuesday night at home in the VNL' winning streak continues. Up to 12th (I think!)

I love it when a plan comes together !

Really good first half performance and good to be 3-0 up kicking towards the Bank in the first half
Credit to Wealdstone who had a good second half and never gave up

We are climbing up the table nicely and a home game on Saturday to come, good times

As for MOM .. surely the boys in ‘the bank’ for their performance in the second half and especially the last 20 minutes #Red&WhiteArmy 🐔👏👏

@dorking-eagle Clearly the A Team was out there tonight! Loved the intensity and the pace of the game. Wealdstone never gave up, which I respect. It seemed that possession was less, and more direct playing. Hoping this decisive win can provide enough momentum to defeat Rochdale who came off a tie with Boreham Wood, and pick up another 3 at home.

Always say judge us after 10 games!

The noise from The Bank was terrific too

Looking up the table now. Tom Blair has slotted into the team effortlessly by the way.

Brilliant win. The Bank definitely sang the boys home last 20 minutes.

I thought Wealdstone played the better football most of the first half but were punished by three great goals.

Second half, I was worried after they scored but after that we played some decent football going forward and looked pretty solid at the back. Dan G did a great job back there after TC went off.

Special mention to Lionel on the wing - brought some power and flair to the attack. Roll on Saturday! 💪
