This weekend we face a bottom of the league Weymouth side who have not won in the league since early November. We faced them in similar circumstances earlier in the season but that day they came away 2-1 winners...

Pending an injury update tomorrow, it looks as though we may only have one injured player in the form of Jack Young as Josh Taylor and Dan Pybus are expected to be available once again. Matt Briggs serves the second game of his three match suspension.

Predictions:

Weymouth 1-4 Dorking (Rutherford x 2, Carter, Muitt)

872 att. (164 away)

                            Foulkes

             Camp        Craig      Milsom

 Muitt       Gallagher      McManus     Norville-Williams

                             Carter

                     Prior      Rutherford

Subs: Brooking, Francomb, Williams, J.Taylor, Murphy

I think it will feel really cold down there near the coast so I make your attendance forecast about right.

Hopefully it won't be postponed for a frozen pitch, forecasts I have seen don't show temperatures going down to zero at all.

Okay everyone, what do the weather watchers amongst us reckon about the liklihood of it being on tomorrow? 😬

Fairly good, I'd say. Looks like it's a fraction warmer on the coast, and shouldn't drop below freezing this evening.

Sounds like he is currently only training with us and not signed yet. I do think we need another LB/LWB but I am not sure another 33+ year old in that position is that ideal...

Jimmy Muitt injured so could we see McManus play out wide tomorrow?

One solution would be to have Brooking play there with Camp behind him.

It going to be a challenge finding a way to get these two to start in the same team!

@wayworn-wanderer Yea I've thought that before. Brooking is clearly excellent at taking people on - and is well due a goal for us...

Brooking wing back right, NJNW wing back left?

@wayworn-wanderer Yup, could be a good opportunity to play Brooking further forward in that RWB position.

Morgan Williams is an option in that position as well as he's fairly quick and has a good workrate.

My son emailed Weymouth asking about bringing his drum and did a side question about the pitch. They don't envisage even needing an inspection, which is confident! 👍

If Weymouth are worse than Chesham - as the table indicates - then surely it should be a comfortable win. But the home game we were awful.   I’ll go a 3-1 win.

i agree with the option to play Brooking in place of Muitt as he can go by defenders for fun.  I would have Morgan Williams starting in midfield with Josh Taylor getting some minutes too. Would get Murphy on for Prior too is he is not needed in defence all game.

Will not take kindly to hear the game is frozen off when entering the turnstiles again. ☀️

Halfway there. Was as cold a -7 at Newlands Corner, but its +2 degrees and sunny in Southampton. Should be fine as long as sun gets on the pitch
