Looks like Joe Cook doesn't cut the mustard.  Bobby Joe is better going forward than defending. Dan is our permanent gap filler.  Can Joe Rabbetts step up to the mark?

Harrison is a decent shot stopper, he's not as good overall as Dan Lincoln in my opinion. I would be very happy if Lincoln came back.

So far this season we've conceded 4, 2, 1 and 3 goals. Joint top for most goals conceded in the division (10).

The games come thick and fast in the first half of the season with midweek league games heavily frontloaded before Christmas.

If Mark Beard had still been at Dorking this season I think it would have been nailed on that Sam would have come here (rather than join his dad at Eastbourne)

Marc's own indiscipline cannot continue much longer if he wants to be serious about competing in this tough league. He talks about controlling the fine margins, but himself being missing can't have helped. And having a former player (legend) stand in for him in the dugout, when a quality manager - Steve King, watches from the stands.

Quite bizarre we've just signed a new midfielder when it's clearly a defender we need to replace Joe Cook.

What's the situation with Ed Harris? As I understood it, the only sticking point was training 2 mornings a week? Yet Prior is 'allowed' to only train 1 morning per week?

If we have players who are available to train 5 mornings a week, might it be an idea for those that can, to do that? Ross the head coach is full time (ie not a volunteer) and so is Louis the strength and conditioning coach, so if there are players that could benefit from doing a bit more, crack on!

Just throwing an array of thoughts out there!

@sddwfc

Yes he played 42 games for York City last season,  a couple of assists, no goals,  he looks a steady midfielder. The midfield position is quite interesting now as we have a few players in that position, I count 7 players.

Any strengthening of the squad must be good, but I agree @Dorking Raider it seems odd to go for a midfielder above a left back.
it seems Pybus is a holding midfielder who - according to the York fans- only passes sideways. That is not what we need right now. We have Mooro, Dan G, Kuhl and Jebb. The latter two at least are good forward passers. Interesting to see if he slots straight in vs his old team on Saturday

@miller09 I wouldn’t say Jebb is a good forward passer in my opinion, I think we need someone to replace him on the bench
