Time for you to come up with your ideal DWFC line up - imagining a situation with no injuries and no suspensions (we wish)...

Caveat is that of course some line ups will be different according to the opposition - and I've got to be honest, it's actually really tricky as we do now have a strong squad imo, and there's quite a few could have gone either way with such a strong subs bench - but I'll give it a shot;

I'll go first -

Male

Fuller

Cook

Craig

Moore

Francombe

Carter

Bowerman

Prior

Rutherford

Blair

Subs: Briggs, Gallagher, McShane, BJ Taylor, J Taylor (5 subs, I know!)

Tough one to do as we don't know how well Carter will fit in to the team and lots of players are out of form/fitness at the moment. Assuming everyone is fit and at their absolute best then I would say:

                                    Male

             Francomb         Craig            Cook

                            J. Taylor    Pybus

     Briggs                    McShane                    Blair

                        Prior              Rutherford

Subs: Gallagher, B. Taylor, Bowerman, Carter, Seager

Feels insane to leave out the likes of Fuller, Moore, Muitt, etc but it is so tough to pick a 16! Carter probably eventually takes the place of McShane in the XI though.

This is a real tough ask. But I would go for the following

Male

Francomb

Craig

Cook

Pybus

J.Taylor

Carter

Muitt

Blair

Prior

Rutherford

Subs

B.J.Taylor, Gallagher, Briggs, McShane, Seager

I'll have a Guinness

Hmm, pretty tricky, but I would go with the @Steve1966 XI , with Briggs and Muitt pretty interchangeable and not quite sure who is deeper out of Taylor and Carter.

But if we had that team out there for a few weeks, I think they would do some damage!

@baggy Yes it's that front 4 for me - Prior, Rutherford, Barrowman/Muitt/Briggs/Blair that has huge potential...

The 4 wingers (5 if you count Bobby-Joe) are the hardest to pick as you could make a case for any of them being in the XI:

Briggs - Unstoppable at his best but hasn't been anywhere near his best since the injury. 0 goals and 1 assist since he returned last season.

Muitt - Probably our best player towards the end of last season. 1 goal and 1 assist already since his return this season.

Bowerman - Probably our most consistent winger last season. Most assists last season (9) and most assists this season so far (3).

Blair - Been unreal since he joined. 3 goals and 2 assists already.

Mine XI is.

                                               MALE

                        FRANCOMB   CRAIG    COOK

                                               PYBUS

          BRIGGS      J.TAYLOR   CARTER    BLAIR

                                  PRIOR   RUTHERFORD

SUBS,  MUITT, BOWERMAN, SEAGER,  KENNEDY GALLAGHER.

I put Gallagher in my squad because we are very light on decent defenders. And he would just plug a gap when needed.
