Ok - for a bit of fun and discussion - let's have your ideal starting 11. Appreciate this will vary according to the opposition but there's some really tricky choices at the moment...not least the Seagar/Prior thing up front - can we accommodate both and who would lost out in other areas. I'll start:

MALE (GK)

COOK (RB)

CRAIG (CD)

BJ TAYLOR (LB)

FRANCOMBE

MCSHANE

J TAYLOR

BARROWMAN

SEAGER

PRIOR

BRIGGS

Bit of an attacking line up - will win most games 5-4 not 1-0.... 🤣

Alfie hopes to be playing October. Could be initially on loan somewhere a step or two lower (eg Bognor)

                     Prior + Seager

Barrowman                               Briggs

              J Taylor       McShane

                      Gallagher

Cook                 Craig           Francombe

                        Male

Rutherford to replace Seager when fully fit

Not fully convinced by Male yet (IMO Lincoln was better than what we've seen of Male so far) but its of course early days so giving it time.

I expect Kuhl to surpass Gallagher over time.

Of course there are some games you can't beat a bit of Mooro!

Is that because you expect Aaron Kuhl to improve as a player? Or become more established among the Wanderers' squad?
If it's the former - Kuhl is two years older than Dan Gallagher?

I am a big Dan Gallagher fan 😀 ..the defence usually looks a lot more secure with him sitting in front

... but also think Aaron Kuhl has now settled and is improving with each game  - great squad depth which we need for a positive NL season

Miss Dan Lincoln too ☹️

I think the more chances he gets, the more Aaron will show what he is capable of. Gallagher is a fantastic 'blocker' however I think Kuhl's strength is opening up the middle of the pitch and taking the ball forward
