After the good fortune in being able to reschedule it on a Saturday I really hope it is on!

@calvertskans Yep, not looking good tbh. But like you say, it could be a blessing.

Yes we need some game time, but it would also give another week to recover from injuries. If it was called off, I wonder if we'd arrange a friendly, given the all weather pitch and need for minutes?

I understand that DWFC booked their train tickets for the travelling squad yesterday on the advice from Alty that hey have pitch covers and are sure the game will be on, so fingers crossed

Well, those pitch covers aren’t much good. Match postponed.

As has been said, I think no bad thing given the injury list. Pybus out til new year as well 😞

Some of them will be turning out in the B team tomorrow according to Marc.

Good to hear the lesser spotted Cook mentioned in despatches again.

Next date to attempt to play this fixture is Tuesday 12th December

Fingers crossed!

@dorking-eagle Shame it's not moved to the Spring tbh. Don't think many will make that journey midweek - and at the moment we need all the recovery time possible.

Shame the league couldn't have held off to see if Dorking and Alty were both knocked out of the Trophy on Saturday, as there would then have been a clear Saturday (4th round day) when it could potentially have been scheduled. Never mind.

@dorking-eagle Yeah I was surprised at this as well. I wonder if it will get moved back if we do end up both losing this weekend.

Hopefully York lose as well as that provides a free Saturday for that game as well.

Those not going to the game, which email did you use at Altrincham to get a ticket refund?

........and it's off again! (as Alty still have to play their Trophy game and that takes preference apparently)

Likely to be rescheduled for 2024.

I think that is a reasonable guess, but you do wonder why the league didn't insist on our game at York being on 9th Jan? (it's on the 16th)

IF the Alty game is scheduled for 9th Jan then it'd mean 3 Tuesday night AWAY games in a row! (Alty/York/Dagenham)

Must admit the first half of the season was a bit of a killer in terms of 'long' away trips, and so Alty and York being shoved to the 2nd half of the season is a bit of a relief!

No supporters coach running to this fixture

Tickets previously purchased remain valid
