Pleased with this one being so early, was one of the aways I didn't do last season so should be ok this time!
It's a nice modern ground, a few pubs and places to eat very close by. Last season my family went to the Donkey Derby, a nearby Greene King 'family' pub/restaurant which did a wide range of meals such as burgers, chicken, steaks, fish ribs etc.
I believe other went to the Glass Works pub which is dead opposite the ground.
The online ticketing was a challenge, wanting to buy more than one ticket in the away end, still had to set up a separate ticketing account for each ticket. Glad I kept hold of my login details to their ticketing site!
If you're going up for a bit longer than a couple of hours around the match, then the historic centre of Chesterfield has a good range of shops, a huge historic market and of course the famous 'Crooked Spire' church, which was free to visit last year and has a good gift shop too. However the town centre and the church aren't within walking distance of the ground.

Can’t wait for the Chesterfield game as we didn’t go last season.
It's a dreadful ticketing site! Only lets you buy child tickets as part of your order if you set up a ticketing account as a child (with a child's date of birth) and then buy through that. Apparently if you telephone to book, then it's very straightforward, so bear that in mind if it's totally frustrating! We are block E1 by the way.
