Dorking Wandering
The Dorking Wanderers FC Fans Forum
Back to the Camping World Stadium in the FA Cup hopefully avenging last seasons result
Horsham have tweeted that ticket info should be out later this week (not clear yet if they will be selling our allocation or if Dorking will host it again)

Odds on us wearing the inside out 3rd kit again as a good luck charm? 😆
How many tickets were available last season ?
Last season when we played there the ground capacity was 2000 and we were allocated 200
By the time Horsham had progressed to a home replay against Barnsley, the local Council has reassessed the ground and given it an uplifted 3000 capacity (which they sold out for that game to their credit) including Horsham giving Barnsley fans 450 tickets.
With the utmost respect to both clubs this time around I don't think a round 2 qualifying game will get 3000, but it should still be a very good attendance.
Once you've got over how pissed off we all are with getting that draw (again!) it actually has the potential to be a classic.
A bit like when there is often a boxing 'rematch'.
Not sure I want it to go to a replay though!

@dorking-eagle Spot on David. Although I think we could easily sell 500, so hopefully they will see some sense and give us a better allocation - and segregate too.
Can't make the game this year as on holiday. However, can make it if goes to replay.
With Dorking injuries, I think it will be a tight game, although Horsham well beaten at home by Dover recently.
By the way, Horsham have new sponsors. It is now the Fusion Aviation Community Stadium now. Although the signs had not been changed at the Dover game.
Horsham have posted news of tickets on their website. Say they have a season ticket priority period, and also mention of a 400 allocation for us.
Would like to think that DWFC have control over that 400 allocation at least for the first 24hrs, so that our own S/T holders are sure of getting a ticket in the same way Horsham's s/t holders are.

@dorking-eagle Also not segregated again. Bit strange but there you go. I'd imagine most Wanderers will gather again in roughly the same spot...
Marc inferring about this that we're not bothering with it. Hope that isn't the case. Bit of luck and we could go far in the competition.

Think he's just downplaying it a bit to take the pressure off. He did the same thing last season as well.
So I'm guessing we just have to get tickets on Monday morning as part of general sale? Not much communication from the club on this one...
Was told today DW season ticket holders will be able to buy from our 400 allocation on Monday. Comments under the Horsham website article suggest it's a free for all on their site...
???

@dorking-eagle Well with no segregation guess it doesn't really matter - just buy from wherever.
Still don't get the idea behind selling away fans tickets separately then not bothering with any sort of segregation. We'll probably enter through the same turnstiles again. Seems crazy but there must be some reason behind it. Anyone any ideas?
Spoke to Ollie at the game today. He will send out links to Season Ticket holders at 10am on Monday. One ticket per application (although you can apply a second time!)
Makes sense now, cheers 👍
