Back to the Camping World Stadium in the FA Cup hopefully avenging last seasons result

Horsham have tweeted that ticket info should be out later this week (not clear yet if they will be selling our allocation or if Dorking will host it again)

@adeb No segregation is presumably because they would have to provide separate toilets and refreshments for the away fans. They would also have to put up some sort of fencing which isn't currently in place. Don't think they actually segregated when Barnsley visited (crowd of 3000). I think the Horsham fans (apart from literally a handful of mouthy 13 year olds that you always get after any result) are sensible enough that it really isn't necessary, and Dorking fans have showed before (eg at Maidenhead, Truro) that they can all behave impeccably too with no segregation despite having good numbers.

@dorking-eagle Yes makes sense I guess. Mind you, I'm glad we segregate. Personally hate standing/sitting near opposition fans. Have to bite my lip - get too wound up, but that's just me.

BTW - Season ticket holders and owners email links this morning via DWFC. All pretty straightforward.

I just got a couple of tickets on Horshams website. I’ll make sure I don’t have my Dorking hat on when I enter the ground 😂

Bit of a pain as I had to get one for myself through the Dorking site and one for my Horsham mate through the Horsham site. Hoping that won't be an issue...

Can’t imagine they’ll be that bothered on the day. I didn’t use my real name on the ticket but I’m sure they’ll just scan the code let you in without checking

The concept of having home and away allocations in an unsegregated ground, where many of us regularly watch both clubs anyway, is a nonsense. If Horsham couldn't be bothered to provide segregation then they should have no say in who buys what tickets.

Notwithstanding the above, it is appreciated that DWFC prioritised s/t holders and owners.

@calvertskans Will be no problem, I'm sure. Last year everyone entered through the same turnstiles anyway!

What’s the deal with parking there? I something about a park and ride?

This is what their website says:

https://www.horshamfc.co.uk/what-to-expect/

"On matchdays the car park at the Stadium is reserved for officials and players only. But don’t worry, there is ample free parking available less than five minutes’ walk away at the Horsham Park & Ride. Park up and find the letter ‘K’, which is situated next to the path through to the traffic island for crossing Worthing Road. If a large attendance is expected, information will be published on the website regarding additional parking nearby, with a complimentary shuttle service to the stadium. On such occasions we’d also encourage you to car share, or travel by bus, if possible."

But if anyone drove last season, and has some input, that would be great (I missed the game last year).

I got the bus from the town centre last year (takes about 5 mins) and it stops at that park & ride which is literally just across the road from the ground.

@matthewpont I drove last year, and on David's advice got to the car park nice n early (2.15 I think) - plenty of room at that time, not sure if it actually filled up but I'd imagine if you get there by 2.30 should he fine?

Thanks, I’ll probably look at the park and ride then. I’ll like to get in the ground around 1.30

I drove last time and parked in the large park and ride car park (follow sign off A24 - 'local amenity tip' lol) which is free and a couple of minutes walk to the ground. Worked well.

I think it was full before the game so don't aim to arrive too close to kick off if you want to park there.

I'm usually very early, so will do the park and ride car park! Thanks.
