"Why would I leave to join a League Two club? We're going there anyway!" - Marc White
Worth noting that if us or Slough make the 4th Round Qualifying of the FA Cup then this will be postponed
Hoping Slough lose their replay with Chichester then lol (Alfie Rutherford's dad manages Chichester btw)

Slough won their FA Cup replay last night against Alfie's Dad's team.
Slough travel to Chatham in the 3rd qualifying round on
If they win that then Dorking have another blank weekend (unless Dorking pull a midweek game forward of course)

Another potential weekend for Hemel Hempstead away as long as Weston get through their 3rd round tie as well!
But again, the less games we have to play without Josh Taylor, etc the better so another free weekend might be good.
I have half an eye on a potential visit to the Isle of Wight to watch East Cowes Vics. That's if my wife doesn't seize a once in several months opportunity of a clear weekend (what with it being International weekend and England being abroad) to visit family in Devon 😑

Slough won their tie so this will now be postponed.
What do you reckon the chances are of DW trying to reschedule a game on that date Tom?
It's 'International week' for many pro teams (Prem, Championship and any other teams with 3 internationals) so the potential to get a good home attendance if we were to schedule a game on that day....
Depending on the forthcoming result in the FA Cup replay between Chippenham and Weston S-M, either Aveley or Hemel Hempstead will not have a fixture on 12 October.
Rather than DW have a Tuesday night home game against Aveley or Hemel in January or February, we could potentially pull one of them forward to Sat 12 Oct and get a decent Saturday home crowd in, before the weather turns too cold?
Do you reckon DW might do that (subject to an opponent agreeing of course), or do you reckon Marc would prioritise another weeks rest all the time the squad is still getting over the injury crisis?

I think Marc will prioritise rest but if we were going to move a game, I think it would be the Hemel away game rather than the home one as Monday games have been a killer for us so far.
Side note, Hornchurch drew today so will have a replay. I assume the replay will be this week before the game against us?
Yes Hornchurch's replay is in 3 days time, so ahead of their visit to us.

@dorking-eagle good news for us! Let's hope it goes to extra time as well...
Presumably with lots in injuries and red cards? 😆

Correct me if I've missed it, but I don't believe DW have even announced the postponement of the Slough away game yet?
Anyone know the liklihood of another game taking it's place? If not I could make good use of the blank weekend to visit East Cowes or Jersey Bulls for example, but I don't want to book anything until I have an idea.

So Weston super Mare beat Chippenham Town
meaning Hemel Hempstead Town cannot play Weston on 12 October.....
What are the chances.....?
