In case you are interested....... the "B" Team have an important game in the morning at Meadowbank, kick-off 11am. They are playing Godalming, so time to get the first hour, have a couple of pints and a burger then get the coach at 12.30.

600 tickets - let's sell this one out - would be an outstanding effort.

Match tickets are now on general sale via the DWFC website (NOT the Worthing FC website)

I guess that now our allocation is sold out, Wanderers and floating fans will get their tickets from Worthing website.

Anyone know how strict the segregation is likely to be? Looking at you @Worthingfan !

Stewards are usually pretty flexible in these circumstances I think, especially if it is not a sell out

@baggy From our side Im lead to believe we expect a sell out, in terms of stewards no chance any home fans buying in the home end will be let in the away end, simply because how limited the space is and safety concerns, the stewards have been VERY strict this season even enforcing home fans not to stand on yellow walk ways etc even on Tuesday nights with crowds around the 1000 mark, we seem to be treating every game like a test of hopefully bigger things to come.

In terms of away fans in the home in the end, I would do the same if it was the other way round and to be honest we will have a many a day tripper waiting to see if it could be a title decider and if it is a sell out will happen ( We have 16K trying to buy play off final tickets)

The non league fan in me would rather see an extra 400 to the Dorking allocation that have done to Dorking games than us have an extra 400 day trippers

Logic says that until the home end is sold out, to increase the away allocation.....there is no point having even 'plain clothes' away fans in the home sections, as even just a couple of Dorking fans talking amongst themselves about Dorking will annoy any home fans next to them.

Confirmed 600 sold out. I believe we are going to request more, though we're not that hopeful it will be increased unfortunately.

@worthingfan Cheers for that. My guess is that a lot of Worthing's 'floating' support will be hedging their bets and seeing what the next 3 games bring before deciding...?

Think the issue is with our away end cant be more than 600, and unsure we have the segregation/ turnstiles to make it any larger.

We got just under 2k on Saturday with 20 away fans and Brighton playing just after so impossible for them to make both games. The difference when they play is normally 500-700 that support both.

So that being said we for a bigger game on a Bank Holiday with no Brighton game we should be getting the same 2K from Sat + 700 Brighton + 600 Dorking thats 3,300 so only need any extra 600+ to sell out which given how big the game is I can only see a home sell out, just a matter of time

Thanks for that @Worthingfan.  If there are large numbers of plain clothes Dorking fans - and we already get a BoA contingent at away games - the sensible thing might be to designate a section of the ground “neutral” or for away fans.  No need to fence off I would think - the presence of a few stewards and community police officers should deter any aggro.  I managed to watch Saturday’s game vs Eastbourne Borough next to two away fans without coming to blows!
